My dog hates car rides!
I got this in hopes that it would calm my beagle down and not foam at the mouth every time we go on a car ride!!
His doggie daycare is five minutes away and this is a freaking life saver/game changer!! He never paid attention to anything but this!!
Our camper is an hour away so I just ordered two more and hopefully it will help him get over his anxiety of car rides!
Just smear peanut butter or yogurt or whatever on the mat, freeze and it wah-la they are occupied!!

Bought these for my dog that has separation anxiety. I used peanut butter and put in the freezer she loves it. It suctions to our tile floor very easily.

Our Dogs love these. Good for peanut butter, mashed bananas, applesauce. Put in freezer for longer lasting treat. Easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Does what it needs to. Dog has fun, dishwasher safe. Easy and good for all.

Very easy to use. Just a light push onto the side of the shower and it sticks with no problem and not hard to remove. A great distraction so I can hurry and get them bathed without them turning and fussing the entire time. Almost didnt try this, glad I did.

While I’m sure it’s great, and it’s a great idea, and it’s super cute.. I’ve never seen my dog run from treats before. She just hates this. She sniffs it and walks away. She doesn’t know what to do with it. It’s seriously so weird.

I saw a friend purchase these. They are great for the shower or my front door window when I’m doing nails. I also just slap it on my fridge when they are bored or need to cool down. I like to store mine in the freezer so the peanut butter lasts a little longer.

My chihuahua hates getting baths and before I bought this would bite the water and growl. But now that I use this, she’s occupied for the whole bath. Is she calm, no, but this thing isn’t a miracle. But it does the job! It has really good suction and doesn’t move around when I’m bathing her. Some people said it’s hard to clean but I haven’t experienced this. I put it in the sink and run hot water on it, then pop it in the dishwasher and it comes out clean.

I rescued a dog that was in a hoarding situation and had puppies by 9 months old. She has a ton of anxiety so I decided to try these. OMGeeee. They actually work. The effect doesn’t last long but it does give her some relief while she’s using the luck mat. I always use peanut butter when she’s having an especially high anxiety time because it takes longer to lock off. It really does relax her a bit. Does my heart good.

My dogs loved them. They didn’t move while the dogs were licking them. I froze them with peanut butter on top. Perfect for a hot summer day!

This was difficult to get to stay in place on the tile wall. It didn’t make Bath time any easier to have this falling off and smearing peanut butter on the pup when fell. It was a pain to clean. Probably cleans easily in a dishwasher. But hand washing required lots of soaking and scrubbing, multiple times. More trouble than it was worth.

These are absolutely awesome!! I have 2 puppy who LOVE their peanut butter. This suctions right to the fridge and these keep them busy for a good 15-20 minutes (allowing me to catch up on a tad bit of housework haha!) Highly recommend!

This worked perfect. We could not take a shower with my golden dog. I put some peanut butter on the product and put it on the tile. He never ran away. For the first time I could get a comfortable shower with my dog.

These pads are fantastic! The suction cups stick to everything! It’s the perfect thing to keep my dog busy when I’m brushing him or even eating dinner. I like to put them in the freezer and give him a cool treat! I will be getting more of these

I got this to distract our puppy and give him a good association with bath time. It stuck to the side of the tub until we started filling the bath with water; then it immediately fell in the water. The water wasn’t even warm, just tepid, so I doubt it was steam that prevented it from suctioning. Looking back on it, I could’ve just smeared peanut butter on the side of the tub and gotten the same effect. Maybe it would work in an environment without water, like brushing or grooming.

I used this to calm my hyper neurotic schnauzer during grooming. Poor little guy was abused by a groomer when he was young, and has been VERY difficult to groom ever since. I’ve long been on the lookout for anything that will help calm him. Can’t take him to a groomer anymore, because he gets so stressed out. Grooming can take hours because he is so nervous. This tool was amazing. I was able to use the electric trimmer to do his belly, back and hind quarters quickly with no drama! Going to try it with my other schnauzer during his bath. My advice is to use just a little peanut butter or wet dog food at a time. Very thin layer. That way the dog really has to work for it and doesn’t fill up and get bored. This is the best grooming aid ever! It’s a wonderful, wonderful thing!!!!!!!

I just finished cutting and dremeling toenails on my three dogs with their total cooperation, thanks to this product. I just put squirt cheese in between the nubs of the slow treater, laid it on the grooming table, and the dogs were happily licking away while I worked on their feet. No pulling away, no second person to hold the dog, just me, some cheese, and the slow treater. I’m a fan!!!

I have to give my dog Epsom baths because she is very allergic to grass. She’s part Portuguese Water Dog, and she has webbed feet. This makes it harder to wipe her paws clean after coming inside from a walk. The Epsom salt baths are just to cover her paws with water, and she has to stand there for 10 minutes. This great dispensing mat makes it easy to keep her in the tub for the full 10 minutes.

Really the best thing for grooming your dog! We use this for the bath, drying, brushing, giving eye drops, etc. Has really changed our experience with grooming our dog who used to hate baths and he’s so much happier too! Only thing is to make sure you watch your pup the full time while licking peanut butter or whatever you put on the slow feeder… We left him after grooming to finish up his peanut butter and he bit a piece of the plastic off and ate it. We learned for next time! Highly highly recommend!

Dog loves it! It doesnt really distract him from a bath, but it does entertain him and gives him an outlet for his licking. The suction cups are a great feature even for on the floor. I bought a different lickimat that doesnt have the suction cups and it moves around too much and pup was able to pick it up and chew on it. Cant do that to this one as its stuck down to the surface. Only thing is that its not as easy to clean as they say its hard to get all the food out of the crevices. I used dishwasher but that was worse. I just scrub by hand w/ a toothbrush to get in all the tiny spaces. I will buy again!!

Bathing and grooming my five month old Alaskan malamute/husky has always been a bit of a struggle. The sight of the nail clippers, and grooming brush were enough to send her running. I can honestly say that the slow treater has been a total game changer when it comes to bath-time & grooming. It’s simply amazing how a single tablespoon of peanut butter spread into the slow treater can keep my pup so distracted that I’m able to fully wash, dry, brush, and clip her nails without her even noticing!!!

These lick mats work well for my sister’s dogs, so I decided to try them for my cat… yes, cat. To start, I puréed canned tuna and smeared it all over a mat that I stuck to the wall of my bathtub and let him go at it. At first he was skeptical since he hates the bathtub, but once he smelled the tuna he was all about it. I did this three times with no water involved.
Next, I filled the tub with about an inch of warm water and offered him the mat again. After hesitating he decided it was worth it, and willingly went into the water! So the next time it was two inches of water, then three, and finally four!
Then I tried to gently pour water on his back with a cup. That did NOT go well the first time, so I backed off for a few times lol. But the next time he actually let me!
Now, this is as far as I have gotten, but I really feel like this is a serious victory. I will continue slowly working up to a full bath, but I think it will continue to go well as long as I don’t push him too fast. I’ll update if anything changes, but these lick mats work!

I hardly ever write reviews, but I am taking the time to write this to thank the maker of this amazing product and to share how great it worked for me and my puppy! When I first tried bathing him without this thing, it was a NIGHTMARE. He was in and out of the tub, hated the water, and it was just awful. By the time it was over, I was wetter and soapier than he was! But I soon discovered my puppy loves peanut butter!
So I bought this slow treater, and amazingly I was able to bathe him with no problems at all in about 15 minutes! He stood docilely in the tub the whole time!!! I don’t think he was even aware I was bathing him!!!! He was so good that I decided to also try filing his nails with a new Dremel tool I had bought. I had been trying to train him to the Dremel for the whole previous week. He is normally not scared of noises-the vacuum cleaner and even fireworks are no problem for him–but for some reason this one he couldn’t get used to and kept shying away from me whenever I turned it on. I had pretty much given up hope that he would ever let me use it on him.
This thing is so great I have told everyone about it, and I even bought a couple more of them for two of my friends with puppies. If your puppy doesn’t like bathing and getting his nails trimmed, GET ONE OF THESE!!! They are miraculous!!!! Thank you so much!!!

I use this product almost every day. My puppy loves it and it keeps him busy for 10-15 minutes. I usually give this to him when we are eating dinner to keep him away. I put something on it and freeze to make it last longer. I’ve used baby food, peanut butter, cottage cheese.. it’s great!!

This dog lick mat is great for my dog’s bath time. I just put peanut butter on it and stick it to the wall of the bath tub. It keeps my dogs entertained while I bathe them. They used to hate bath time but not when I use this mat.

Made bath time a breeze. She didn’t want to get out when her bath was over because she wasn’t finished. Took it out of the bath and stuck it on the tub. Made drying less of a chore also.

My dog’s hatred of baths is too much for this, but it is really helpful when we are using the hair dryer on him. We smear it with peanut butter. The suction is great – sticks to the floor, wall or cabinet.

My dog gets hotspots all the time (it’s a bulldog thing) and the only thing that helps is this healing balm called Skin Soother. Problem is, he is very active. Everytime I approach him, he thinks it’s playtime and would start running with a ball in his mouth. I bought this product hoping he would actually stay in one place for at least a minute.
Worked like magic. A tablespoon of peanut butter goes a really long way. I spread it really thin and place it a bit higher so he has to work for it and not get bored easily. It gave me 8 minutes; enough time to apply his healing balm and actually see hotspots that I’m not aware of.

Purchased to help my dog with bath/ brush time. It sticks great to the wall. Kept her still for grooming, which she hates being brushed, and I was able to do so without being rushed to finish. I would recommend this to any dog parent.

Keeps dog busy, but he chewed it up after peanut butter was gone, then pooped out the pieces. Don’t leave dog unsupervised. I always let it soak in the sink after he has peanut butter to loosen it from the nooks and crannies, otherwise you waste a lot of water trying to clean it completely. It is dishwasher safe, but I always clean it by hand.
